Woodley NEVER lets his hands go when he was in the UFC until his very last fight there. I was hoping Tyron realized his **** was getting stale but nope, still same ol’Woodley with them hands he be saving for dudes disrespecting his momma.

Depends how you look at it. If his goal is to be a great boxer and change the sport, then his downfall has nothing to do with his trainer. He just isn't on that level. Not even close.

yeah someone shouted at him to move his head and he immediately did a little head wiggle when both guys were well out of range and quickly forgot whatever was just said. lmao

He definitely had a lot of nervous energy the opening rounds. He was very twitchy. Woodley was much calmer but actually too calm and never pressed it.

There was no KD because Jake got tripped. Great call by the ref.

Tyrion is 39 and can't box. He has no tempo because he's a terrible athlete with those thick legs. He was tentative because he didn't want to get caught. Jake convincingly won 6 out of 8 rounds and thats a landslide.

Tyrion was talking all kinds of shet, how hes going to brutally ko Paul, kill him, etc. He's a betacuck with a big mouth.

Well, knockdown or not, I wouldn't say that Woodley won. Obviously. haha And from what I hear, it sounds as if Woodley hardly ever lets his hands go, even in MMA. It is what it is. But I still think that he could have benefited greatly if he just boxed like a boxer and not an MMA guy. How hard is it to have a normal boxing stance? (Rhetorical question) I see these MMA guys box, and most of them don't even implement the fundamentals. Someone should tell them that fundamentals are necessary ... because they are fundamental. Just seems kind of dumb to me how these guys approach these fights.

They get used to having the mma gloves which are like concrete, you're gandma has ko power with them. Plus, no boxing shoes, you lose power. It's real. They just look for the big shot and can only put two shots together, they suck.

It was constant shouting instructions man, and you're right Paul didn't always follow, but when he did the instructions really worked, almost perfectly. It was just fascinating to watch.

I don't think it would work as well at a higher level, because opponents are better and would react but in this fight, it was really effective.
