Rafael Marquez Still Hoping For Israel Vazquez in 2010

Rafael Marquez is not losing patience for a potential fourth meeting with Israel Vazquez. He knows the fight won't happen this year, so he is targeting 2010 for a fourth showdown. Marquez had hoped to fight Vazquez this year. That won't happen. Vazquez plans to make his featherweight debut on October 10 in Los Angeles. It just shortens there career even more if they do it right away. They take a few tune ups and then gradually increase competition levels. When they both become world ranked feathers, they should do it.

Don't get me wrong I loved the trilogy but I would really like to see these boys go after some other guys now. I'm sure a fourth fight would be exciting though.

Thanks!!!!! I agree with you. Why is that this guys so called " great fighters " only fight each other over and over again? Well I know they went against J.Gonzales and Too Sharp Jonhson but wasup with the rest of the division? Guys like I don't know, the top 5 or the champions? 122 Ponce d Leon, Steve Molitor, Celestino Caballero and the lil' Japan dude. Same thing on 126 Chris John, Luevano, Gamboa and the Taka something or the other top guys like Santiago, Solis and company........

Nobody Holds a Grudge like them Marquez Boys. God Dammit i love those guys and i wish more fighters were like them. The only people who can hold a grudge better than a Mexican Man is a Mexican Woman and believe me you dont want a part of that. Both Brothers are the inspiration i live my life by and i only wonder is Rafeal drinks his piss too.
