Personally I would love to see him settle at a weight and focus on trying to be the very best at that weight. 130, 135 or 140, win a real belt, defend that real belt and look to unify with other real belts.

What I want is for him to make a real legacy for himself and create some real sporting achievements rather than being directed in a way that doesn't cement any legacy but makes cvnts like Ellerbe and Floyd some easy money.
Very few fighters had legacy defining fights at this point in their career. Tank has defeated some good opponents, guys other fighters get credit for when they beat them.

It seems his resume is judged by who he works for. How is that even fair or right?

He has defeated some good opposition, there is time to achieve greatness and he has the potential and ability to do it at a number of weights. But I've heard how Ellerbe talls, fair play to him he is being open that Tank is being sold to casual fans who don't know and don't care. There is time but they sound like they got a long term plan for him and it doesn't sound great.

But me and you are real Boxing fans, we want to see him be all he can be, being British id love to see him fall flat on his face and fail but as a Boxing fan I'd rather he tried and became a great than not try at all. And I worry that Ellerbe and Floyd will lead him down the path of safety and bluff.

Pedrazza when he was undefeated and Leo at 130 are quality. Barrios at 140 is good. Walsh is solid. Cuellar is solid but not great. Fonseca, Ruiz and gamboa- obviously those were look good fights that all fighters have.
Pedraza is solid and that win is aging well so far, but Leo was a lamb at the slaughter; He couldn't even crack an egg at 126. Barrios is good, but 135 is better than 140 and closer to the division Tank jumped up from [130]. Everyone else you mentioned is either nothing special or should've retired years ago.

What bugs me is that he could've had a much better resume by now, if he didn't spend years fighting overmatched opposition after Pedraza.

They haven’t laid out a long term plan other than They’re building his brand in a market that is friendly. When this is done in other places there isn’t a problem.

Not enough fighters build their brand with casuals and then you guys wonder why the sport is dying.

Least you’re honest. A lot Of people just hate the fact Floyd and Al are doing a good job with him so they want him to lose. Maybe that is why casuals like him because of all the hate he gets .

Safe route is just silly NSB garbage because he’s with Floyd and Al. You guys gotta stop rating who he fights based on not liking his promoter and manager.

When does power only determine the quality of opponent?

his resume is exactly what a fighter his age should have- some very good wins and some wins against older vets with a name to boost his profile.

How all the sudden this is bad just because it’s Tank is ridiculous.

Again, what fighter do you know at this age and number of fights that didn’t have a similar resume.

His resume doesn’t need to be better. Any fighterS resume could be better. People just need to stop holding Tank to a higher standard because they don’t like Floyd and Al.

I would like to see him call out an old Manny Pacquiao.

Him surviving a plane crash is no joke.

Davis’ career is underwhelming at this point.

He was called out by Lomachenko, Floyd turned it down for him.

That may have been to shield him, but Lopez did the opposite, chased Loma and won. And Lopez is younger. This was despite Arum not wanting to make the fight to shield Lopez.

Tank should probably start hanging out with Teo.
