JMM camp is preparing for Floyd to use the shoulder roll and be on the move alot while trying to counter with pot shots. This is also what I gather that all the media think and most of the fans. I personaly think the exact opposite. I think Floyd will come out with the forearms up high like Winky fights. The same way he did to Zab after the first few rounds and how he started some against Gatti. I think he will come out fighting at a fast pace and being on the aggressive from the jump. I think he will use the high guard because even though JMM is a righty, he throws his punches so precise and down the middle that he's the only righty that Floyd would be better off defending like he's a Southpaw. Add to that with the high guard Floyd can use his speed more because your hands are already in front your face. Youre taking the power off your shots but you can land fast & quick. I honestly think everyone is so wrong about this fight and we are going to see a techniqal version of Hagler-Hearns.
Floyd will shock everyone by coming forward off the bat and using the style Im talking about while JMM will be trying to counter. It will be exciting because Floyd will take some shots like Winky does. He will let JMM hit him some because of the way his guard will be. Floyd will be coming in and JMM will throw a combo that ends with 2 heavy punches to the body that he will try to put all his force behind but as soon as he lands then Floyd is responding back with a straight 1-2 combo that is snapping JMM head back like he did to Hatton over & over again in the 3rd or 4th round I thin it was. Floyd will be coming forward the whole time and pushing the tempo behind the high guard. Its funny because everyone has been talking about JMM & Pac making Floyd fight faster then he wants but Floyd will actually be the one making JMM fight faster then he wants and landing flush blow after flush head snapping blow to the face. Again, JMM counters back with good combos but Floyd always blocks every punch to the face with the high guard and he takes those body shots like they are nothing.
Thats how I honestly think this fight will play out for 3-5 rounds and then all those head snapping punches by Floyd start to take there toll on Juan. His face is brusied & swollen and now Floyd shifts into full out combo mode where everything he throws is a 4 or 5 punch combo. Its going to look like such a mismatch at this point and they will look like they are on 2 diffrent levels. Some will start to say that the weight looks a little too much for JMM and he looks to slow but even the most die hard Floyd critics will have to admit that no matter what the weight was, he put on a show that is worthy of greatness and being 1 or 1a in the P4P race and being one of the greatest ever while people drool over a Pac match.
I honestly think he will put on a Gatti style performance and everyone will again see his full repitore that will make people look dumb for questioning how good he is Offensivley and how he cant throw combos or outbox JMM or that he isnt legitmatly a boxing GOD even if you think Pac or whoever is better. People will give him his props on that performance and just say that they hope or he better fight Pac or a real WW next but they would pick him over all of them. At the end Floyd fans will make threads like the RJ song. "Yall Must've Forgot", because people will have genuinely forgot how good this guy is because they havent seen him in so long. They will see the seperation between him & the #2 P4P guy in the sport like its not even close
