Exactly! The poor child is still gone and I couldn't imagine the pain involved on both ends. I know this story isn't new but I'm sure we'll hear more from her after the Canelo fight.
I'm not saying Plant's ex is this horrible woman because I don't know her, but stuff like this never really goes away. It's old news but Caleb's upcoming payday is another motivating factor to bring up old stuff. Sadly. If they can't be a part of what you have going on, they'll settle for you ruining your reputation (true or false) or worse...kill you.
People do it all the time in public situations like this. Why make a big fuss about something when you can wait until they become a larger figure or bring in more money THEN strike while the iron's hot? It made little sense to try and ruin his reputation when nobody really knew him but he'll be a bigger name as this Canelo fight builds.Comment

nobody even read the article. Plant’s father is a piece of shet. He complained that she shared/informed Plant about their daughter’s critical condition (as she couldve died that night) before his fight, and that her news was the result of him losing his fight. Who says that! Perhaps a husband whose wife was a junkie and doesn’t trust women? Yup! Anybody siding with Plant means None of you have children or you come from the same broken ass families as Plant. Lol.
First of all, it’s an amateur fight. Second, your critical condition child, a newborn, is more important than your phagget ass 4 rounder ffs.
don’t worry fellas. I’ve never seen Caleb Plant build any foundation like Danny Jacobs does to help kids with cancers or diseases. Ideally Plant would’ve already done that. And again, Canelo Alvarez, has donated millions to cancer kid foundations and had helped kids rebuild broken villages.

I made it clear in my responses that I read this years ago, so WTF are you pissing & moaning about? I even tied it into the fact that that's probably not the last we'll hear from her as Plant's career progresses. I also spoke on ****ty parents in general....not putting a label on Plant's ex by any means other than her clutching at straws for attention years ago.
And who cares if it's an "Amateur" fight when the man's currently a Champion and set to fight for the Undisputed Championship of the world? He had to start somewhere as most of us do. He started with "phagget" 4 rounders, as you so eloquently put it.
Caleb was the one fighting so he could've easily decided against it and stayed with his daughter but he made a thing called a "choice." We ALL have choices...broken homes or not, and Plant made his choice that day. Is he impacted by it? Surely.
He knew what condition his child was in because it's happened before as stated in the article, so, again...he made a choice. And really....what does his dad have to do with this?
Adults make the world children live in, so I could give two craps about how that "parent" feels about being judged for being a ****ty parent. Just because she posted something on Facebook doesn't make it gospel. Maybe he embellished, or she is, who knows? He may have thought she would recover or survive and perhaps he was in denial about her chances of pulling through? Or he isn't equipped to handle grief and dying. Or maybe he really is a selfish scumbag? For now it's he said/she said and we don't know the mother's sudden motive for coming out with this now.Comment
