    NEW YORK, August 27, 2009 – (L-R) WBO World Jr. Featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez,Caguas,Puerto Rico and WBA Featherweight Champion Yuriorkis Gamboa of Cuba pose during a press conference on Thursday to announce their feature fights on Top Rank’s “Island Warriors” - Latin Fury 12 Pay Per View event on Saturday, Oct 10 at Madison Square Garden.

    On this doubleheader card, Lopez defends his title against challenger Rogers Mtagwa, Philadelphia,Pa. and Gamboa defends his title against challenger Whyber Garcia of Panama. Top Rank promotes this event in association with Arena Box-Promotion and PR Best Boxing

    I like Juanma alot, but I've been a huge Gamboa fan ever since I saw him fight Al Seeger. War Gamboa!

      That would be a good fight. I think i would put my e-money on Gamboa, but Juanma has a good chin though so i would have Gamboa by dec.

        It's an exciting fight, Olympic gold medalist vs a young knock out prodigy, I like Gamboa too, is style is fun, but with Juanma he better protect his chin.

          Juanma will knock Gamboa silly. Too many flaws in Gamboa's game and Juanma is very skilled as well as big time ****er.
