Honestly, I thought Mayweather was such an obvious hater for criticizing Pac for stepping up to face a real challenge in Errol Spence while he, an ATG, is fighting a youtuber with no pro wins in an exhibition. It's a joke that tells itself.
But looking at the fight with Ugas, I can't help but think Mayweather ended up being totally right. Manny is not young lion anymore and clearly can't hang with the big dogs in the division. If he had fought Spence, he could've been seriously injured. If Manny wants to continue fighting, it clearly should not be against the top dogs. Even if you argue Ugas was just a bad night for him, you still have to admit that fighting someone elite is too great a risk to Manny's health at this point. Imagine if Marquez IV happened again, it's not worth it.
