What would be a better statement to Fury than knocking Usyk out in the early rounds? Fury puts Usyk right up there.
True, Chisora hasn't been Ruiz'd though like AJ was It'll be interesting to see, I don't think AJ has that bull-rush in him, but boxing has surprised me before

AJ is pure muscle without that much body fat unlike people like Whyte, Joyce and Dubois. And his bones aren’t as dense as theirs, so it’s just idiotic on his part to be carrying that much muscles hence he tends to gas out quick. His lungs aren’t that big for that type of muscles he was carrying and I’ve always maintained that he’s at his best between 238-245. The good thing is that he knows better now and he’s doing the right.

He was laughing when Whyte caught him with the left hook because he got carried away and both had their issues pre-fight. Ruiz fight was different - that was solely on Eddie Hearn. Fight should’ve been cancelled. And in the rematch, he had to be cautious due to what happened in the first fight because the demons don’t just disappear like that. He’s back to being himself now after all the abuse he got from the Ruiz loss and he’ll make a statement against Usyk. He’s most likely going to flatten Usyk like he did to Povetkin.

That excessive muscles brute style isn’t sustainable for someone like him. He punches hard with both hands at any weight. He’s very nimble. He’s the most accurate puncher in the division. And he’s a 1,2,3 boxer. What does he need being a brute force for?
Deontay Wilder unlike Joshua, does not appear to be very strong in is core or posterior chain. Wilder is a different body type all together. I have never really observed how Wilder trains in terms of strength and conditioning 'No idea what he does'

I don't think Wilder can function very well, anywhere near 230-235 pounds, it just all becomes nonfunctional muscle mass 'Like a body Builder'. He came in heavier for Tyson Fury II, and was stumbling about everywhere, even before Fury hit him.

Anthony Joshua even at higher weights, has always been functional to a certain extent. His toughest fight, was against Wladimir Kiltschko 'And that fight was fought a a extremely intense pace'.

His stamina, and durability was not all-time great in that fight 'But it was good, otherwise he would of not been able to turn that fight around'.

Like I was saying before? I think Joshua was over-trained for Ruiz Junior II, his condition and state was a bit better for Pulev.

But now it seems like he has gone back into 'Obsession mode' once again. You have to back and defend your fighter, I know all of that. But you also know exactly what I am talking about, you have noticed everything I have mentioned.

Talking about the scales, and it is just the way he carries himself 'He is dealing with something, and I am not knocking him'. Because Joshua is working through all these processes in-front of the camera's, and under constant scrutiny'.

I saw a slightly similar situation happen with David Haye, after he was beaten by Tony Bellew 'That was actually worst then Joshua's situation'. Yes athletes change adapt all the time, but 'When they start repressing, denying certain aspects of themselves' that is no good not in this game, boxing is brutal in that aspect.

The way David Haye acts now, all this matey matey attitude 'It is all nonsense, it still bothers him that Bellew beat him'.

I don't buy into what has been said since about their fights by Haye 'It was all genuine'.

Note: The main point I am making in this thread is, it looks like Joshua has gone back into obsession mode. There is a possibility that, both Usyk and Joshua will come in very close in weight.

For the umpteenth time, AJ didn't over-train for Andy Ruiz.

This is a video of the fight week against Andy Ruiz at MSG (a few days to the fight): #JoshuaRuiz | 1 on 1 with Anthony Joshua - YouTube

^^^From that video and the bruises on his face due to acupuncture treatment for a scrambled brain - does that look like a guy who's ready for a fight? What boxer goes into a fight looking bruised, battered and jaded? Fight should've been cancelled and his trainer also wanted it cancelled - Eddie Hearn was just too greedy to cancel it. There's a reason why Chisora said Hearn would sell his own mum for money.

AJ and Wilder have similar body type. The only difference is that AJ started lifting weights regularly from 2010 and got bigger. And he got caught up in how his build became part of the marketing strategy for women and thought he could beat everyone with brute force, even when he's clearly hurt and shouldn't be fighting. However, he's smarter now and the best weight for his body is 238-245. Anything higher than that is a disaster waiting to happen.

Also, AJ is too skilled to be fighting the brute force technique. I know that's why some of you primal fans like, especially when boxers brutalise one another like animals in a cage. That's the fun in boxing for you lot. But some of us want to see skills and see boxers take less punishments. AJ is better off using his skills to win fights without taking much punishments. And he's in that phase of his career. He has all the requisite tools to do it with the power he has in both hands and his accuracy which is by far the best in the division.

honestly I was leaving you alone because it’s tough to debate what you were saying without coming off as if I’m insulting your intelligence, and I didn’t want to go that route. But to suggest any fighter is unbeatable is absurd and shows a ridiculous level of fandom. It’s not like Joshua looked like a prime mike Tyson. He showed vulnerability other than just the Klitchko fight. And to say that he got dropped by one of the best hw's of the last 30 yrs is out of context. At the point when they fought, Klitchko was over 40, off for a year and a half and was coming off a loss where he clearly couldn’t pull the trigger. The only reason Joshua survived is because old Klitchko no longer had the gas tank to follow up on Joshua being hurt. Ruiz is an average heavyweight at best and he took joshuas heart because unlike Klitchko, he was young enough to push Joshua and didn’t let him recuperate. Similar to many current boxing stars, Joshua is more popular than he is good.

I didn’t find it tough at all. I **** all over you to be honest. I gave you exactly what you asked for; why I thought Joshua was unbeatable before he lost…and you can’t debunk a single one of the points I raised.

Thanks for your opinion. Come back when you have a real argument.

                1. He has been fighting at a higher level, in less fights, that any other active HW.
                2. He was knocking out people left, right and centre, with ease. Everyone knows Joshua has got incredible power. Its irrefutable.
                3. He got knocked down by one of the best heavyweights in the last 30 years, got back up and knocked him out. Wilder wouldn't fight him after 33 fights and Fury stayed well out of the way of Klitschko's power...not that he threw anyway - so AJ took the power and still knocked him out. 53 KO's in 64 Wins...pretty obvious.
                4. Fury wasn't around and there wasn't really anyone out there who I could see beating him - until the shock loss to Ruiz. All this 'fat mexican' BS is just trolling. Anyone gets hit on the temple, its game over. If you think that's just an AJ thing - he survived Klitschko. Unless you think Ruiz is better than Klitschko???

So why is it so implausible that I would consider Joshua unbeatable up until he lost? What reasons would I have to think otherwise?

Yeah I think he's better now. He's got far more experience. He doesn't have the pressure of his 'O'. He had to completely change his approach to regaining his titles from Ruiz. All this BS about him running away is a double standard. Fury ran away from Klitschko all night and its gets called a masterclass. So unless you're a troll, its one rule for all, or not al all.

He showed better management of his tank against Pulev and got the KO. Pulev would be a top 5 on his resume for Fury, top 3 for Wilder. Lets not forget that.
your entire argument is debunked because none of it was accurate. You’re just believing what you want to believe.
                1. You can say he was fighting at a higher level but he’s fighting in a weak hw division. Nobody he faced was impressive. Especially not to the ridiculous point of saying he’s unbeatable.
                2. Knocking people out with ease? Again, he went life and death with old man Klitchko and was also rocked by whyte. That wasn’t with ease.
                3. Knocked down by one of the best heavyweights in 30 yrs….who was 40, hadn’t been active and came off a loss. Big deal. It was embarrassing that he struggled that much.
                4. Fury wasn’t out for Joshuas entire career , just for a portion so that argument is null and void. And sorry but getting knocked out and then quitting against a fat Mexican was embarrassing.

so now you just got countered with facts which go against your opinion. And this is why I was going to just avoid the debate because you’re clearly a level 5 fan boy clinger of joshuas and refuse to deal with facts. Checkmate. Good day

Honestly, I just don’t think you are thinking when you are typing your response.

                  1. Ok, so you agree with me. Its not a FACT that this era is weaker. Its your opinion.
                  2. Okaaaay, so Joshua didn't win all but 1 of his fights, pre-Ruiz by TKO/KO? Again, its not a fact that you think nobody was 'impressive', its your bias opinion, once again, tricking your mind into thinking its fact. Something all too common on here. Are you American? Yeah, you must be.
                  3. Oh, it was embarrassing? Not a fact. But here is a fact. It was The Ring FOTY.
                  4. I conceded that it was a reason for me thinking Joshua WAS unbeatable. I would openly say that I didn't think Joshua would be unbeatable if Fury was around. So, its totally relevant. Its just your reading comprehension level -1000 led you down the path to looking like a total twat.

Oh, and he's another good one you brought up. You said Klitschko didn't have the tank to finished Joshua but Ruiz did...go and see how many rounds and knockdowns it took for Ruiz to finally put Joshua away. HA! Can't wait to see your reply.

So, a whole lot of salty opinion. Very little fact, old man.

I love it. Come one, lets see what else you have.

                    1. Yea perception on a hw era is an opinion, but if you know boxing, which you clearly don’t, you know we’re in a weak era and that’s been the case for a while now.
                    2. Again, further proof that you don’t know boxing, just because someone wins by ko doesn’t mean they win with “ease”. And he didn’t win all of his fights with ease as you said. He was hurt and dropped. That’s a fact not an opinion.
                    3. Joshua was knocked out against a fat 30-1 underdog. Fact. You even justified the loss by saying anyone can get hit in the temple at heavyweight and be taken out….but at the same time you felt that Joshua was “unbeatable”? Did you not know a heavyweight can be taken out by a single hard shot prior to that fight? Did you just start watching boxing 5 years ago? You didn’t think that someone like a wilder or Ortiz had any shot of catching Joshua with a shot after already seeing him hurt vs Klitchko and whyte? Goofball.
                    4. Klitchko was 40 and coming off inactivity and a loss, fact.
                    5. Fury wasn’t going through his depression period for all of Joshuas career…..fact
                    6. Saying any fighter is unbeatable is ****** and makes you look like a desperate groupie fan boy who also believes in Santa and the tooth fairy because greater fighters than Joshua have lost at their peak….fact.
                    7. You’re the one who clearly can’t read because when you mentioned how many rounds it took Ruiz to put Joshua away, that was my point. Klitchko hurt him but couldn’t capitalize. Ruiz hurt him and kept coming. Even when Joshua tried to get it back to get her, Ruiz kept the pressure on round after round until he eventually folded like a chair and quit. Seeing how you thought he was unbeatable, you were likely crawled up in the fetal position crying like a lil b***h.
So to summarize, you thought Joshua was unbeatable and had ****** reasons for believing so. None of the reasons your mentioned were valid and were all just based on you having a massive man crush and magical thinking.

I'm just laughing so hard reading your responses. You're so angry.
