I never thought Errol Spence was faking the retina injury. But all the Pacquiao fans were screaming for medical proof so I think turnabout is fair play now.

The problem is that with a fighter like Pac who’s entire game is reliant on his movement…a lethal combination of Father Time and a long layoff will result in what we saw Saturday. No matter how great you are, there’s no solution except getting out before you get put out. Manny’s team is going to have to save him from himself just like every great warrior.

He don't need proof. Nobody needs proof. What we saw was a 42yr old with no more legs. You can't move around like your 20s and 30s in your 40s. I mentioned in another post that EVERY YEAR passing matters at 40. He pulled off a miracle with the Keith Thurman win but the two years that past since, while may have freshen him up, clearly left behind his legs in the Thurman fight.

Listen, it's no shame. A 42 year old still trying to go at it at the high level. At least he can retire with his head up high because he didn't go out brutally.
