  • Manny please retire

He looked much slower and was getting hit flush and often..had that been Crawford Manny would have been stopped....Maybe take one more fight again a low class opponent in Manilla as a farewell bout..but its over o the top level..respect to a long great career but step down before you end up like Roy Jones at the end of his career

I agree. It was around rd 7, where it hit me how flat footed Manny was. Ugas was right hooking him at will. Ugas was getting in some good counter shot the whole night.
I dont know, maybe a mikey Garcia type..

Do you think Spence would have worked him over? Maybe it's time for that Khan fight finally.

Its funny that Floyd and Manny were so great they not only outlasted their OWN generation but also the NEXT generation.

Long gone are the Cottos, Mosleys, JMM, Bradleys, and Hattons.

And the next generation of Thurman, Porter, Spence, Danny Garcia, and Crawford are hardly relevant. Spence may be retired, honestly, and hes never lived up to the hype of his sparring stories... Thurman is a basic fighter who lost to old Pac. Porter has been overhyped since the beginning but hes about as good as this eras WW so it appears hes better than he is. Danny Garcia is a glorified gatekeeper. Crawford was the most special talent of this era but never got a shot at the top because of dick sucking Al Haymon and the ILBBC movement. Now Crawford is going on 34 and has a handful of fights at most until retirement

Mosley and Jmm are far older then both of them and Cotto and Hatton are not more then 2-3 years younger...agree on Bradley tho

peoples expectations are all jacked up now from floyd and manny. they keep forgetting these guys are elite ATGs, you cannot expect everyone else to be at that level, but everyone gets compared to them.

He will. He looked pretty defeated last night. It was a sad sight honestly.
