How far does Pacquiao drop on the ATG list after tonight loss

These Mayweather fanboys are totally out of touch. They really think that being undefeated is the end all be all when it comes to rating a fighter. They keep preaching it as if it is gospel and the sport has suffered because of it.
Fighters now would rather avoid top competition in fear of losing that 0. It has become a selling point that promoters use to inflate the actual rating of their fighters. Once that 0 is gone, their fighter's marketability go down. And it has been perperuated by this "undefeated=great" bull****.
The fact of the matter is there are fighters who came before Mayweather and Pacquiao who have lost and are greater than either of them. Fighters who have given classic trilogies and came out on top while facing the greatest threats available to them.
Now the question that has been infesting this board for over 10 fking years: Is May better than Pac? You honestly can make an argument that he is. But the reason isn't because Manny has lost and Floyd has not. That's a flimsy starting point to start your argument.
Pacquiao fans/Floyd haters put the emphasis on an undefeated record more than Floyd fans. That’s because they are threatened by it. No one has even mentioned Floyd undefeated record. We’re talking about Pacquiao 8 losses and strength of resume. No one said you had to go undefeated to be an ATG.Comment

By Ugas'd do you mean have Pac train for an offensive south paw and in the final moment jump in with a polar opposite style to edge the 2 yr inactive lightweight, thus retaining the title you never earned in the first place?Comment

Duran beat Sugar Ray Leonard.
The closest thing Floyd has is an out of prime Pacquiao with a bum shoulder who's about a division smaller than him.
And it was competitive.

Pac is still goat. Training 2 weeks for a stand in opponent who'd been studying and training for Pac his whole career. If Floyd had of done that Floyd would have lost badly alsoComment
