It's all about STRENGTH of resumes.
    Pac has a laughable resume.
    He compiles shot fighters.
    Too many catch weights.
May would have an easy 0 with Pac's resume.

Strange, losses mean nothing and yet 0's are a joke ???

        Which is it

          Depends on who you ask

Everyone drops points after a loss on BoxRec rankings no matter how old they are, how nice they are, or how exciting they’re old fights were. That’s really one of the few organization I know who uses points/analytics. Pacquiao is the only fighter who gets the “it doesn’t matter” treatment after every loss.

Never said you did. It's a sentiment some boxing fans share.

No way Pac should rate above May. Not if a person is unbiased.

Pac is treated just like any other ATGs. He already established himself as one of the greats, he just lost at the tail end of his career like every fighters does. Henry Armstrong, Ezzard Charles, Kid Gavilan, Sugar Ray Robinson, Roberto Duran are considered one of the greatest fighters ever and they have double digit losses. Means nothing at all.

Losing means nothing ?!?!? Losers would not agree.

You were just asking me a question as if you assumed I was among those people that shared that view.
In any case, ratings are subjective. There’s nothing wrong with people rating Pac over May, or May over Pac.

Ah yes the infalliable boxrec system that has Timothy Bradley as the 21st greatest p4p fighter of all time.
