This dude pulled out the fight, forcing manny to fight someone on two weeks notice, and yet errol thinks he’s relevant. I lost all my respect for him.

Think about it.

Let's say Manny still wants to fight him anyway. Spence gets a big payday.

Let's say he doesn't. A lot of fighters who watched Ugas' performance will duck him now. He's a bad style matchup. He is. Spence challenges him to unify, it's a huge fight because Ugas just got done beating a legend, decisively. I'd be surprised if Ring and TBRB didn't immediately elevate Ugas over Crawford.


Personally: If I'm Terence Crawford, I'm on the phone figuring out how to get Porter in the ring OR Ugas. Don't care which, but one of them would be my next fight no matter what I have to sacrifice to make it happen. Not only for the belt, but because

* Ugas is fresh off a BIG win
* Ugas is also the one who arguably beat Porter
* Ugas is going to be avoided
* Porter is mandatory
* Porter was just on the commentary - so people know the history with him and Ugas

Which means both fights are in chatter right now.
