Mikey Garcia vs Sandor Martin, thoughts?

Likely not a good fight but as a fan of Mikey I definitely think he needs a tune up. Mikey isnt some athletic phenom and even when active starts slow so personally I think we get the best Mikey Garcia when hes active. Mikeys the kinda guy that if he fought 3-4xs a year hed be extremely dangerous.

That's true, a stay-busy fight is understood. I wish he were more active but you know, I think that Spence loss did something to Mikey which is why he took so much time out the ring. I kind of think we will mainly see Mikey from now on returning just for money grabs and disappearing again. But we'll see right?

Oh wow, that example definitely put it into perspective.
I honestly might watch the fight just because I am a Boxing junkie but I am not excited about it at all. But I get it, Mikey has been out of the ring for way too long anyways.

I’ll watch it as well, I’m a Mikey fan, so enjoy watching the guy fight in general. Just a shame the last few years of his prime have been plagued with inactivity. He’s just looking to cash out now I reckon.

I’m not so sure he does tbh man, he looked very good after his 2 and a half year layoff when he fought on the Frampton-Santa Cruz undercard. I was actually at that fight too, his timing was good, punches looked crisp, no real signs of ring rust.

I pretty much feel exactly as you do man. Yeah I think Mikey at this point is doing cashcow gigs and not necessarily looking for legacy anymore.
