What I wrote was correct. It is the documented history of what actually happened.
If I was to veer away from the concrete fact and give greater 'context', I would point out that Manny is one of the biggest box office draws left in boxing. Whatever fight Manny wants, he gets, if the fighter is fit and able to fight. It is logical to assume then that Manny decided he didn't want the fight, no?
Even if we factor in your claims -- that McGregor was so woefully uncredible as an opponent that Manny was simply forced to reject the fight, this still basically chimes with what I said. Namely,
1. Manny rejected the fight because it had no credibility
2. Mayweather fought the fighter with no credibility
