He wanted the fight despite being vocal and critical of Floyd for fighting the McGregor. That is called hypocrisy
I'm intentionally sticking to what is established fact and steering around building a narrative, as you try to do, by relying on seeing into other people's hearts to tell us what they wanted, even though those purported desires are contrary to events.

Leave out the part where you delve into Manny's thoughts and intentions -- which you cannot possiby be 100% sure of -- and everything you say crumbles.

What I wrote was correct. It is the documented history of what actually happened.

If I was to veer away from the concrete fact and give greater 'context', I would point out that Manny is one of the biggest box office draws left in boxing. Whatever fight Manny wants, he gets, if the fighter is fit and able to fight. It is logical to assume then that Manny decided he didn't want the fight, no?

Even if we factor in your claims -- that McGregor was so woefully uncredible as an opponent that Manny was simply forced to reject the fight, this still basically chimes with what I said. Namely,

    1. Manny rejected the fight because it had no credibility
    2. Mayweather fought the fighter with no credibility

H2H Floyd was better than Pacquiao. That we know for a fact.

All else is opinion and guesses and fantasy.

Pacquiao proves it in the ring. No need to debate here. Most recently, at age 40, this former flyweight lineal champion dropped an undefeated welterweight champion, making himself the oldest welterweight champion of all time. Fighting cleanly, with excitement, not just to win. Again, as a former lineal flyweight champion. And he is not done.

Floyd isn't better h2h either, he got the result he wanted but that he is better h2h is just an opinion also. Many who saw that fight won't have concluded Floyd was better h2h.

RJJ was clearly robbed. Pacquiao wasn't, he lost fair and square to Floyd.

Didn't JMM officially win more rounds on the cards when you add up all 4 fights?

Ok, he was better h2h on the night, just like James toney was over holyfield or laing was over duran but they're not greater.
Pac s greater though. Give Pac s rematch in philipines.
