Great post, I can see the arguement, a couple close calls for sure. I felt he should have one more L on his resume to GGG fight 1. I can see the Lara fight coming down to how a person personally scores a fight. However fights too close to call tend to go to the more popular fighter. Lara should have done more, GGG too, they knew going in they had to go all out to win. When I hear he lost to Trout or Cotto, I just cant buy it. I agree this fight being made says a lot of Canelo's desire for his legacy.

I noticed all the Canelo haters on here saying this fight is trash, Canelo is going to knock Plant out in less than 4. I'm assuming they state this and it doesn't happen, they can then say Canelo sucks!! Or whatever they want to claim. If Canelo knocks Plant out in less than 5 rounds, that speaks to Canelo's skills, not that Plant sucks. This is a good little match up, I fully expect Canelo to win by late round stoppage or unanimous decision especially if Plant does not engage a ton, Plant has enough boxing skills to give Canelo some rounds and win a few. It should be a good one regardless.

Plant has never beaten a single good world class opponent. Canelo hater or not, they're telling the truth on that point.

Plant is going to look to survive by staying too far out of range and clipping the gloves so as not to be in range of Canelo's shots. He'll lose wide, but call robbery. His ego and pride will not allow him to get knocked out by Canelo. Just watch. It will be a pathetic performance by Plant.

Plant has never been in with someone remotely like Canelo. BJS has never shown willingness to take a knee and quit yet he did all that against Canelo. Plant will do the same.

Plant will def have his moments with his spoiler style but he gets lazy and Canelo will capitalize with vicious counters.
