Davis' issue needs to be resolved, no question. Historically, all sanctioning bodies have made such decisions based on communication w/ fighters and their teams, so entirely possible WBA knows something we don't yet know regarding Tank's next fight. But no question, whatever weight at which he fights, the other two titles need to be vacated to validate this movement.
Gutierrez-Colbert actually favors Golden Boy. PBC didn't ask for the fight and was expecting to have Colbert next fight Xavier Martinez.
Figueroa is going to be stripped once the Fulton fight happens. MJ is already fighting Ronny Rios. Next likely move is to have winners of MJ-Rios and Aleem-Roman meet.
Rigondeaux no longer has the title.
Russell-Rodriguez was downgraded from interim title to title eliminator before the fight, as we reported.
Morrell-Ryder was already ordered. Alvarez is in talks for his next fight. WBO mandatory will be due next in rotation, and three-belt unified titlists have up to 18 months for mandatory period (24 months if all four belts).

When you say there were whispers a deal was reached between Morrell/Ryder earlier this year, what card were the supposed to fight on? Are both teams confident they can come to a deal or will this go to purse bid?

WBA is next in rotation once Usyk mandatory is done. All four sanctioning bodies are willing to allow undisputed championship to trump all. Absent that, Joshua-Usyk winner will very likely be ordered to next face Trevor Bryan, assuming the Manuel Charr lawsuit doesn't get in the way.

Someone needs to get Bryan out of the way already.

Problem with this is there is an obvious pattern to how they do this.
They order either Regular vs Super or Regular vs Interim depending on allegiances.
See where the regular champion pbc guy is in danger by fighting another promoters fighter for the super, they order an interim-regular consolidation.
Other places like light fly and super fly where there is no pbc guy to favor, Regular champ Franco(if there were a pbc guy there you bet that interim position would already be filled by them) is ordered to fight the Estrada-Gonzalez winner super champ and Super champ Kyoguchi fights regular champ Bermudez instead of the interim champ Matellon.

Youre doing the same thing with Davis they are.

Lets be honest, most of the regular champs are pbc, if they get replaced pbc already has their ducks lined up to cover the bases again, they seem to get first dibs after all. Also, the winner of an eliminator challenges for the belt now right?

Why would they go after AJ when he's the real WBA champ? He's the super champ. It's the regular titles they're shutting down.

You have it backwards. As pointed out to you the only and real belt is the “Super” title. So they need to get rid of their interim, gold and regular belts, because those belts are meaningless and cannot be unified with other sanctioning bodies belts.

They don’t need to consolidate the super belt because that’s the only real one. The owner of the super belt has mandatories who the WBA mandate for them to fight. So it’s either cancel all of those meaningless belts, or get them all to fight each other and then whoever come up on top would fight holders of the “Super” belts as a mandatory.

Thing is, they're already doing the matchups of Super vs. Regular or whatsoever... Have you heard Franco being pitted to the winner of Gallo vs. Choc? And Kyoguchi vs. Bermudez? Those are Super vs. Regular... That means AJ isn't exempted...
