Ugas is being underestimated, he's more than what you think he is

The guy defeated Sadam Ali, Jose Pedraza, Terence Crawford, Darleys Perez, Francisco Vargas (2x) and Khabib Allakhverdiev in the amateurs...

    Take note, he defeated Crawford!

He got beat by Imam, Robels and Johnny Garcia, wobbled numerous times by a B grade Ramos, outboxed by Porter who is a slugger and Manny is not going to outclass this guy.

The pros is way different than the amatuers.

He seems slow but very methodical sort of fighter who lulls them into fighting at his pace and he racks up rounds with his accuracy he also likes using a high guard which I always found frustrated Manny

I don’t see him being underestimated. I think everyone knows this is a risky fight. While Ugas may not be prepared for Pacquiao, Pacquiao is not exactly prepared for him either. They each have like a 1 week window to watch the other on tape. Even then, it is more likely that Ugas has seen more of Pacquiao due to Pacquiao’s fame. Pacquiao probably just saw video footage of Ugas just days ago.

So, this is a risky fight for Pacquiao. Ugas is a pretty tall welter with good range, boxing skills, in shape, motivation to win and make more money. And regardless of Ugas age, Pacquiao is still older by nearly 10 years.

I had more confidence in Pacquiao beating Spence than I do with him beating Ugas. Not because Ugas is better but just because Pacquiao can unintentionally underestimate him on fight night even if in his mind he is not trying to do that.

I think Pacquiao will win though. He got this.

It is only a risky fight, because of what stage Pacquiao is at in his career.

Yes he is a solid fighter, but that is about it.

Danny Garcia would have a chance at beating Ugas etc

Why do Floyd fans always try downplays Pac s opponents when they were slow to do it for Floyd s opponents?
you wouldn't find Floyd criticise berto as opponent and being easy

He is a big and strong counter puncher with a good right hand. He has what is needed to beat Pacquiao. Plus Pacquiao had been preparing for a southpaw, come forward fighter.
