    The bold:

That's what I am expecting Crawford to do. I will honestly not be surprised if Crawford vacates.

We all know this isn't going to happen. Dumbest sport in the world

Crawford is in a different league to Porter.

    Meanwhile, Arum back in July:

The 40% applied to the purse bid. So Arum knew what he was doing. He doesn't want to pay for Crawford, he wants Triller to step up and bid on it like Teo did so that Top Rank gets a percentage without doing any work.
Well, that's possible, but does Triller really want anything more to do with real boxing? Even if they do, are they willing to vastly overbid to win what is nothing more than a boxing insider's fight? Neither Crawford nor Porter come close to transcending their sport, so bidding big on this fight would probably be very dumb.

You want everyone to take the path of least resistance like Gervonta does?
Promoters don't send fights they want to make to purse bids. I can do without Porter's headbutts and wrestling.

Then he is in line to get the Spence rematch. Thurman hasn't fought over 2 years and by November it will be damn near 2.5 years. He's coming off a loss on top of that. So yeah, if Porter takes that fight instead of Crawford...................

I can't wait to go to purse bid. Then peter will have an injury or for any reason pull out the fight. He talks to much and i don't think he wants that Crawford fight

All that matters is that the fight gets made. And neither guy should even think about pulling out.
IDK, I will be shocked if this fight comes off. This is a solid matchup, yet nobody, not the fighters, the promoters nor the networks seem very excited about this fight. I'm pretty sure we see Thurman v Porter instead. Hope this opens up lanes for a Crawford v Ortiz Jr. fight. IMO, outside of settling the HW business between Fury, AJ and Wilder, there isn't a more interesting fight than Crawford v Ortiz Jr.
