Boxing rule changes to make it more exciting - add more to the list and justify

BOXING RULE CHANGES TO MAKE IT MORE EXCITING

1.) 12 rounds but in case of draw another round is added. - Reason: Additional round will at least give each boxer a chance to win without any doubt and such round will be more exciting.

2.) Deduction for boxers that do not throw a punch for 10 seconds and further violation can lead to disqualification. If both boxers do not engage then no contest is declared. - Reason: This is a hit/hurt sport. No business for guys who do not want to inflict pain. This is actually strictly enforced in amateurs

3.) Strict enforcement for boxers turning/running on their back. Penalty or disqualification for violation - Reason: Running on his back penalizes the aggressor coz he cant hit legally anymore the target

4.) 5 judges instead of 3. - Reason: This can eliminate doubious judging and more difficult/expensive to pay the judges

A sturn warning for leading with the head. Then take a point for 2nd time. 3rd offense disqualification. You would get less holding and pushing off with the elbow if trash brawlers couldn't lead with their head. They cause tons of headbutts.

An immediate point deduction for having your head on the opponent. 2nd time disqualification. You should never have a need to put your head on the opponent. It's a tactic used by trash brawlers.

it seems to be difficult to ascertain this especially if you are the attacker and you are trying to chase a runner. I can sometimes see this in Pacquiao fights. this further penalizes the attacker which would make it even less exciting.

Additional: Using old school boxing gloves. Make it with less padding much like the ones used by SRR. Boxers nowadays fights only twice or thrice yearly so they don't should not care much about breaking their fists.

I think if two guys agree bring back 15 rounds for mega fights/undisputed fights.

          Obviously use replay
And give guys deductions for running aka ticket like Pride fighting.

Also have outlandish scorecards overturned and have said judge banned from the sport!!

agree with most of your points.

15 rounds will be amazing. maybe we can announce the scorecards after 12 rounds then 3 championship rounds.

Yeah I understand they stopped 15 for safety but if both guys want to take that risk why not especially when the stakes are high.

correct. most of the boxers now at elite level are capable of another 3 rounds. i would add that after 12 rounds, announce the scorecards.
at least if one boxer is getting robbed, he has a chance to KO the other guy for another 3 rounds.
