Do you favor Thurman over Spence now?

I just don’t think Thurman’s heart is in the game anymore. I’m sure he’s up for getting paid but I think the fire has gone out.

Thurman lost the fire after the DSG fight. That was his last hurrah so to speak. He would sign on the dotted line and probably lose then have another surgery to make an excuse.

I always thought Thurman beats Spence.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if Keith is still really in it. If he comes back in form he takes Spence, but if he's not in top form or close to it Spence will wear him down.

I haven't ever been that impressed with Spence. He's big for the weight. His high work rate and style help that. I don't see a ton of technical skill, but a good jab and the constant wearing down of his opponents works for him. I just think Keith is too clever and catches him. Spence hasn't eaten a punch from someone like Keith yet, I don't have a lot of faith in his chin. Even less now.

i've always favored thurman over spence wayyy before thurman fought manny!

I think thurman is more durable than spence and much proven fighter unlike spence who run from pac challenge.

This thread was obviously aimed at the people claiming Spence is ducking Manny or faked a eye injury.

So i was wondering if they favor Thurman now.....

I understand but was wondering who such people were. It would be good to call them out personally.

Who knows with those two?

Thurman’s shoulder will likely fck up again when ever he fights.

Spence either needs to retire or hope to never get hit in the eye area again.

I say it’s 50-50.

Hand, shoulder, eye, knee injuries, no matter what modern surgery you get for them, WILL come back again in boxing.
