Being elite at 140lbs. doesn't mean you will be an elite welterweight. 140lbs. has been fairly trash for a long time so being elite there really means **** to me anyway. Taylor struggled with Prograis and Ramirez. Taylor has proved nothing at welterweight, where Crawford fights.

Crawford acts like he's a top welterweight, he should prove it by fighting and beating them. He has cherry picked enough already. The guy is 33 years old and fought nothing but faded former champs and bums at welterweight. A supposed top p4p fighter and top welterweight should be fighting the best in his division. He has been a welterweight for over 3 years now. Time to f**king fight top welterweights already.

Ortiz is A level fighter and the best fighter he ever fought is Kavaliauskas?

The only reason you say that is you are the fan of Mexican boxers. You hate Taylor because he beat Ramirez.

this same played out moronic drivel again

Ramirez who nobody in a million years considered a good fighter, who I constantly said was garbage just like Taylor BEFORE they fought?(that Ramirez).(in actuality I never called either garbage,I just said that" them fighting for undisputed is the epitome of why its meaningless")

I literally am a fan of 2 mexican boxers & ultranationalistics like you hyping up Taylor while accusing me of being a fanboi of mexicans is the epitome of irony

Ill do one better & challenge you to find where I've ever been a fan of more mexican fighters in any way than Ortiz & Canelo. If you can do that or even find where I'm not consistently dismissive or outright shtting on most mexican fighters ill proclaim you the king....til then zip

Taylor is accomplished but gets hit a lot during fights. Virgil's natural size will be something that Crawford will have to overcome alongside his skill set, jab and power.

I don't know if you're willing to but here me out. Josh Taylor and Ortiz are two very different fighters. Taylor is a very smart counter puncher who can have a tendency to let his opponent start the action, hence why even with two knock downs Jose Ramirez was still able to have some success. Ortiz is always keeping his jab going and presses the action yet is very vulnerable. I think Taylor will try and outbox Bud, while Ortiz would force the action. Bud has inconsistent defense and seriously struggles to fight off of the back foot. Kava was able to put Bud on the back foot and that's why he had success, but as soon as Bud started walking to Kava he took over. Bud is a great offensive fighter but I think if your chin can hold up, you can walk him down and do some serious damage. I don't think Taylor is big enough or physically strong enough to push Bud back, and Taylor being patient against Bud plays in his favor as Bud is what we call a thinking fighter. Bud is always setting things up, and this is why I believe someone like Spence, Porter, or Ortiz would give him the toughest fight of his career because they all apply effective pressure. I'm interested on knowing how you feel a Bud vs Taylor fight would play out.
