I'm never watching another Rigondeaux fight again.

Casimero at least tried to land. Even if he failed miserably.
Rigondeaux barely put in any effort to throw punches.Comment

When clowns say Lara beat Canelo I say just look at the stats of Floyd/Canelo and Lara/Canelo. That's the difference between RUNNING and defensive boxing.
My Avatar is of Lara trying to JORDAN over CaneloComment

I was waiting for him to start shooting counters and he never dis. In round 6 I realized this is why people hate thia man lol. I've been a fan but that **** was frustrating to watch... he claims to frustrate his opponents but he doeant even do enough to win. What's the point of this **** without countering. He might as well just retire and become a dancer.. not joking. He doesn't let his hands go. Everytime I thought the lazer left was coming, it never came.
Maybe hes aged differently than most boxers.... at 40, he still has his legs.. but cannot pull the trigger like he used to? Idk. It was confusing to watch. Felt robbed, could've watched Ortiz-Mean Machine... was hoping for more of a Nonito vs Rigo type fight but nope... worst one of his snoozefest to date instead.
With that said, I did think Rigo clearly won. Casmiero's aggression was like 80%+ ineffective versus Rigo's slippery defense.. draw at worst, IMO. Draw would've been better... Casmiero also should've lost a point or two at minimum or lost by DQ for a 4 punch combo while Rigo was down in round 1... Roy Jones loses his belt. Casmiero keeps his and goes all 12 lol and gets a ****** wide SD. Oh boxeo.
I could be wrong but doesn't proper defense win you the round versus ineffective aggression? Neither man did **** but Rigo did land the more meaningful punches, though they were far and few.. Its like the judges gave Casmiero credit for punching the ropes multiple times every round. Why Rigo never counter hooked off the pivot behooves me. He was setting up the straight left hand all night.... I really thought he was lulling him to sleep and was then going to pounce. Nope. Just a ****in snoozefest.Last edited by Paperball86; 08-15-2021, 03:34 PM.Comment

I actually don’t mind watching Rigo tbh. I’m a big footwork guy though so that’s probably why. Last night was terrible though, there’s a difference between being defensive and being negative. Rigo was the latter last night, wasn’t even looking to engage and that cost him the fight.Comment

Put me on your list. I absolutely agree. In fact, this might be the last time I even click on any threads with his name in it. Last night, Warren saved the night, where no one expected. Kudos.Comment
