Rigo amazes me

I thought Rigo would fight with the Cuban move and pot shot style the first half, then switch it up in the second half and start to unload more as Casimero threw more wild off-balance punches the more frustrated he got. Disappointed he didn't pull the trigger and win this very winnable fight for himself, but I am not surprised or too disappointed with the decision.

Honestly I thought he won even tho he did the bare minimum. Casimero was scared to get countered, must've felt Rigo's power early on. Casuals might not like him but I think he's pretty entertaining.

It looked pretty effective to me, Casimero was hitting Casper & the ropes all night. If Rigo just engaged a little more this wouldn't have even been close. Rigo didn't hit Casimero because he didn't want to, Casimero didn't hit Rigo because he couldn't.

It looked pretty effective to me, Casimero was hitting Casper & the ropes all night. If Rigo just engaged a little more this wouldn't have even been close. Rigo didn't hit Casimero because he didn't want to, Casimero didn't hit Rigo because he couldn't.

Since Rigo did not engage, your first remark about Rigo being effective is erroneous. Casimero didn't hit Rigo cleanly because he was back peddling not engaging throughout the fight. Did you actually see the fight?

Rigo is shot dude. He can't pull the trigger anymore. In his prime he stops Casimero. At 40 and at 118 he can't even land a clean power punch.

That’s exactly what Rigo’s issue was tonight. He felt he need to constantly move because he wouldn’t be able to deal with the onslaught. I was expecting him at some point to stop running and fire a counter shot that would surprise Casimero but Rigo didn’t feel safe enough to do that. Some people are saying that Casimero was wary of Rigo’s power but I think Rigo was even more wary of Casimer’s power and ability to grind him down, hence the long distance chase that we sat through.

this was the most conservative rigo we have ever seen , he did respect casimero's power way way too much...even our hardcore cuban rigo fans ain't even saying a thing in rigo's defense!
