Excessive running should be warned and deducted a point in professional boxing. Professional boxing is entertainment as well. People pay to watch you fight, not run. You cant put all the responsibility to aggressor to make the fight happen and entertaining. Casimero should have won UD

Thank you John Riel Casimero for finally (hopefully) getting rid of Rigo once and for all.

Exactly. It takes two to make an inactive fight. Everyone is ****ing on Rigo for running, but Casimero was just chasing, and rarely throwing. There were many times where he would just stand and do nothing.

Using inaccurate compubox punch stats is always a silly way to score fights, this fight is no exception. How effective/clean a punch is matters, Rigo landed more of those in every single round. Scrapping arm punches that were credited to Casimero aren't fooling me.
I’m a definite fan of boxing. However, there’s boxing and there’s running with some slapping. The man landed less than 50 phuking punches in a 12 round fights and expects to unseat a champion? Cmon now! When in the history of boxing has a challenger EVER landed less than 50 punches in a 12 round championship fight and expected to walk away with the title? This is prize fighting and in prize fighting you must put butts in seats. Rigo cannot expect to ever sell a single ticket with a performance like this. He won’t headline another fight. Rigo was outlanded by 3 total punches and outlanded in more rounds than Cas and ran ran ran. You’re not beating a champion with those numbers and I don’t care who you are. Nada, never ever going to happen.

That fight was so winnable for Rigo as Casimero basically did not have a clue what he was doing. Dumb Rigo though with his terrible habit of only trying to do enough finally got bit in the a$$ by the judges tonight. Boxing is about making them miss and making them pay, not the crap rigo was doing. I am glad he lost. Just tired of him pulling the same crap so many times.
