    Corley - served him right

Sorry if this got said already last week, but I just read a quote from Corley in Boxing News. He said he wasn't even hit the last time he went down, he was just in trouble so he took the knee on purpose for a breather.

We don't need those kind of fighters. I'm all for clever boxing, but if you're a warrior show a warrior's heart.

taking a knee when you need to clear your head is not a bad thing. Infact, its the smart thing to do if your in some trouble. Would you rather take a knee and get up to win the fight. Or fight with a warriors heart and maybe get nailed again when you are already hurt and possibly get ko'd. In the end it only matters who wins the fight. Sometimes a warrior heart is not the best.....Rockin'

Having been to the canvas 3 times prior to his final knee, proves that Corley was looking for a way out of the fight.

      He recieved it.

Like the old addage in the states goes:

"Play *****, get F^CKED". simple as that.

i did not see the fight. Was Corley stopped because of him taking the knee or something? Did he finish the fight? Did he get ktfo? Did he wear clean underwear into the ring? Like I said, didnt see the fight..........Rockin'

I don't agreed with the stoppage but the ref has a valid point, he said in the post-fight interview that in the first KD of round 5 (the left hook to the body) Corley was complaining that it was a low blow and the ref said no and went ahead with the standing 8 count, then when Cotto comes forward he takes a knee without even been touch by Cotto, the ref said that by that he understood that he was still hurt from that last left hook to the body and didn't want no more punishment...I mad at the ref cuz he didn't let Cotto finish Corley the right way..

There's nothing wrong with taking a knee. If you look at the fight, that's the truth, Cotto didn't hit Corley when he took that knee. The ref is full of it, if Corley didn't want anymore, he could have looked to his corner or just tell the ref to stop it. Cotto is a fake...we'll soon see for ourselves..

            Cotto is not Tito, Borikua..

man, have you ever been nailed in the nuts. Those protectors dont help a whole lot and as a matter of fact if its crooked on you you might get smacked with the steel rim of the cup on your nut. That kills man. If he took a knee than i can understand why. The ref may or may not have done the right thing with a stoppage at that point, but if he didnt see a low blow than he would have to assume that corley was still hurt. That would be a tough call.....Rockin'

And so the streak of WS agreeing with this "boxing fan" ends...

Do you box? Did you even see the fight? I didn't think so, so shut the **** up with that bull****!

He took a knee to clear his head and assess the situation, and it was a good move. Warriors heart, pleaze, hes got a warriors heart for showing the stones he showed by slugging it out with Cotto early on.

You see Anarok, believe it or not, he came to win, not to put himself in a situation to lose. If he stayed on his feet he probably would have been clobbered some more, so he took a knee, not knowing that the ****ing hometown dip**** ref would call the fight.

First you say that **** with Max Shcmelling and then you rip on Corley after he fought his guts out.

Are you even a boxing fan? I don't see how you can be, what with all the nonsense and bull**** you say like this.
