First off I have to say signing rigo to a promotional contract is a dumb decision. its so obvious I don't need to explain it but putting rigo in the main event against casimero is even dumber. it should be donaire in rigo's place. donaire vs casimero is a guaranteed ratings hit! We should've had donaire vs caismero. rigo is a ratings killer he can't draw flies to **** he's a boxing promoter's worst nightmare! and if rigo wins now what? are we going to get donaire vs rigo 2? a fight no one wants to see. the donaire fight just further proves how much of a NON draw rigo is you would think beating donaire would be a major boost to his career but its like it never even happened! if boxing is to be be a mainstream sport again and if boxing wants to stop being pushed to the side by ufc/mma fighters like rigo should not be allowed to headline main events! have them on the undercards! fighters like rigo will turn away fans from boxing and turn them into mma fans.
