Two mega fights for this summer and two opponents pull out that were "supposed" to win.
I feel like Fury was not ready yet for Wilder and seeing how serious Wilder was taking this camp, he pulled out to have more time. The first thing I noticed at the press-con was how skinny Fury looked. Size helps him a lot in there since he can move so well with it. Once he takes away one of his advantages, it gives Wilder even more of a chance to pull off the upset. PULL OUT.
Resolution? GET FATTER. By the time they fight, Fury will have had plenty of time to put on "healthier" weight and get big again to leave no stone unturned.
Spence was reported to look like crap in training while in comparison, 42yr old Pacman had blinding speed still at his age and looking sharp. Spence and camp probably expected an over the hill Pacman due to the age, but as many have stated, the layoff may have helped heal Pac since he'd never been off that long. He looks FRESH. PULL OUT.
Resolution? Hope Pac looks more his age and deteriorates further before picking on him for that guaranteed "W". Spence didn't want to be the next Thurman victim on Pac's resume to further solidify the trash this WW era is.
