Smaller??? Chavez was already established at 140 and beyond. DLH wasn't and he beat a legend. Do you remember Chavez fought Whitaker not that many fights before DLH.

I remember you Ricans were going crazy over Tito beating Campas and Tito was the underdog in that fight too. JCC way better than Campas. Double standards.

I'm serious. I have heard rumors that JCC suffered a bad cut a couple days before the fight or some ****. I mean, we never saw Oscar cut anybody that bad ever before, in the first two rounds no less.

DLH is the naturally bigger man inspite of where they had fought at one point or another. Keep in mind at the time JC was a full grown man kind of blown up really more of a natural lightweight and DLH wasn't physically matured yet and still bigger really......I don't see how Whitaker comes into the discussion. Still a decent not great win for DLH all factors considered. He most likely would have still beaten a prime JC anyway.

I don't know where you got the idea that I was a Rican.

It was still a big fight regardless. DLH fought him and Whitaker before 25 fights and being young in his early 20s.

Certainly it was impressive how many top fighters he fought at a young age and throughout his whole career....not many cans padding up his record.

This is just my opinion but,I feel that DLH beats any version of Chavez,Chavez didn't handle boxers well & if it is mixed with better than average power, which DLH had,he looses!!

Chavez never had a chance in that fight. Oscar was too much for him. I don't know why Chavez was favored.
