Sure that benefits canelo but at some point if the promoters see they may loose money the wont sign on that. So not even a draw like canelo could secure a deal like this. If plant gets covid, sprains his ankle or whatever they could lose millions of dollars. They arent ******

You're comparing Pacquiao getting a base of $5 million to fight Ugas to Canelo getting a base of $40 million to fight...nobody. Really. The risk level is obviously much different when you're paying that much money.
