  • Ugas for Pacquiao is Like Joshua Clottey. Both Incredibly dangerous and Risky but absolutely no Reward for Pacquiao.

Now that we're here after the possible replacement scam has been pulled off right in front of our nose. Let's put some promotion on this fight anyways.

Joshua Clottey is the fighter who gave hell to Miguel Cotto which says this guy is no slouch, he's a quality guy. Same scenario for Ugas, Ugas gave Shawn Porter hell which says that this guy is absolute quality fighter and maybe on his way to elite status. The main difference here is that Pacquiao is 12 years older now.

Both Clottey and Ugas is damn huge welterweights mold physically for modern welterweights like a Thurman, Crawford, Spence, Ennis, Ortiz so forth. Both of them is the proverbial HIGH risk LOW reward fighters. Spiritually, the belt that Ugas carries right now is actually still Pacquiao's, he may have got it technically via the corruption connivance of PBC and WBA, but most boxing fans still recognize that it is Pacquiao's belt and Ugas is just an e-mail/paper champion.

Ugas might have been training for this fight since day one--he actually knows he's not fighting a random Fabian Maidana from the start. Manny's camp is now left with a mere 10-day preparation just like when he fought Ledwahba back in the day, now you add to that the frustration and demoralization about the situation. We might be looking for a HUGE upset here come Aug. 21.

To understand how scary Ugas is. Shawn Porter didn't want a rematch against this guy ever again. Keith Thurman don't wanna be 1-foot near that guy. EVERYONE OF THEM ARE SCARED OF UGAS except probably Errol Spence.

Ugas is a guy you don't wanna mess around whether you're in your prime or not. He's a guy with nothing to lose and everything to gain, he's an enormous welterweight, he even dwarfed Shawn Porter think about that. Now, you give this guy a head start in preparation against a 42-year old now demoralized and frustrated fighter who missed his legacy fight and you've got yourself a recipe for perfect upset. BET on Ugas in this fight if you want to win a good dough.

Ugas is the last you fighter you wanna fight as a replacement, he is a mountain of a man as a welterweight, an olympian, in his prime and in his peakest form right now, hungry like a starved wolf, all set and ready to be unleashed off his PBC chain.

Manny Pacquiao is completely devoid of fear to fight a guy like this in just a 10-day notice. Man oh man, they thought this Ugas guy is just another guy because he's not yet popular, he flies completely under the radar. But this man is the absolute last fighter you want to fight when you're the a-side. If Manny was still with Bob Arum or signed with Golden Boy, dazn or any of the major promotional companies they would of never agree for Manny to take this kind of replacement fight. This is crazy, pacquiao is totally crazy to accept this, he probably doesn't know about Ugas too. Lmao

Put your money where your mouth is. Imagine spending a ton of money to watch pacquiao vs Spence live in the arena but then you get this. When you spent money like I have you ask your self what exactly has ugas done besides have a lack luster fight with porter. Then you will be trying to get a refund like everyone else who brought tickets.

why did you say a head start in preparation? only a few weeks ago Ugas find out he was fighting maidana. I think he is righty, maidana, pac was tarining long before Ugas. Always someone planting the excuse seed. By the way, pac has a bunch of legacies fights, Barrera, Morales, floyd, marquez

Damn Ugas is an imposing looking dude.

I think I am picking Pacquiao but I’m definitely going to tune in.
