You know, I always find that strange that people wouldn't compare a black man to a monkey if he DID look like one.

I remember when they remade Planet of the Apes (and what a crap film that was, eh?) Michael Duncan Smith (that's his name, right?) said Tim Roth looked like a chimpanzee. But if Tim said it back it would have been racist, right?

By insisting on not being called monkeys it's like an admission that they believe they DO look like them.

I dont know how Wladimir made it through the legendarily brutal Soviet boxing program being the glass man he is. Maybe the soviet training methods are not all they are hyped up to be. But Vassily Jirov said his soviet boxing trainers sicked dogs on him and dropped him off in the middle of cold lakes and other torturerous ****. I'm not saying all black people look like monkeys, people, just James Toney...besides, I'm black, why would I say that?

it isn't racist because black people look like monekys or don't. that doesn't really matter. It is about racist logic that compares black people to monkeys in a metal capacity way. That is why you don't do it.

If I posted a picture of George Bush with a little mustache and said "Wow he looks like hitler now". I wouldn't really be saying he looks like Hitler, I would be saying he is like Hitler. Same with the monkeys.
