Rewatching Castillo vs Mayweather 1

114-112 is too close to call arobbery, i know you're not calling it a robbery but that's what most people call it.
Isn't 114-112 like by 1 round?
Floyd won the first 6 rounds and he won the 12th round.
Castillo won 5 rounds, but the rounds he won, he dominated so it psychologically ***s with morons heads.
Watch the fight in mute, without the HBO biased commentary.Comment

No he didn't. Close fight through nine (I had Castillo up 5-4) and then Mayweather hit a gear Castillo didn't have and took over. Underrated fight and win.
I had the first 6-5-1 for JLC and wish he'd got the nod if only for a rubber match.

Have seen a lot of close fights like the Mayweather/Castillo where a rematch is suppose to happen and nothing came out of it, Collazo/Hatton was a close fight which i think Hatton lost and he promise Collazo a rematch but nothing happen, so i give Mayweather credit for rematching Castillo at least.Comment

I had it 116-112 Castillo.
These threads are useful to humble the ******er Mayweather fans who claim he's "omniputant", lol...Comment

I agree. The one fight where Mayweather truly had a controversial decision, he did give an immediate rematch.Have seen a lot of close fights like the Mayweather/Castillo where a rematch is suppose to happen and nothing came out of it, Collazo/Hatton was a close fight which i think Hatton lost and he promise Collazo a rematch but nothing happen, so i give Mayweather credit for rematching Castillo at least.
not every fighter does that. give him credit.Comment

Given the fact that no one was really paying much attention to Floyd (outside boxing wonks) at the time, it was the most marketable fight he had so it was also good business.Comment
