a lot of the **** dana white says about boxing is the truth. He gets hate cause he's in mma and not boxing.

i hate dana but he is right on alot of the **** about boxing.i respect any guy that walks in the ring, but i just don't see any skill to tell you the truth. But the reason i talk **** about it is they got the worst fans in any sport. Also how mad they get when i say they don't have skill it's is if i dissed their family

Mir's a competent BJJ artist. Just like when you throw a punch, your offensive (and defensive) power come from the hips. When Lesnar took Mir down, he put all his weight on Mir's hips. thus stopping him from escaping or advancing his legs into a better control or submission position. A lot of amateur wrestling is about controlling the top position and maintaining control. So no matter where or how Mir tried to escape from the bottom, Lesnar was constantly on top of him controlling his hips.

Mir was powerless.

That's because you don't understand the mechanics of ground-combat, you need to give it time and look at things.

When I first started watching MMA I thought there was little to no technique involved and truth be told I thought the ground-game was a little gay, then you see Fedor doing damage on the ground and you think otherwise.

Actually boxing has the worse fans than MMA. That's just my opinion though. Most MMA fans I've spoken to have been real cool.

you have to actually watch mma to understand it...just like casual fans have to actually watch boxing to understand it..there are a lot of "little"things going on every second of every fight that determines the winner

I know very few of such MMA fans, besides I could say the exact same thing about some boxing fans, you can easily switch the tables
