I wrote this whole long thing and I forgot to add one of the biggest things that I was thinking. That is that I could see Cotto-Pac being exactly like Cotto-Margarito with Cotto playing the Margarito role in this fight. I could see Pac landing quick shots and combos while beating Cotto to the punch and piling up some early points but in the meantime Cotto is landing big shots that are taking more & more of a toll until the fight starts to change in the 2nd half and Cotto beats it out of him. That would be strange if it happened that way considering how Cotto lost to Margarito




i agree because...similarities
1-both top rank fighters--doesnt matter but it is similar
2-pacman is like cotto was then ****y as hell and cotto is like margo was..on the rebound and eager to prove himself and get back on top
3-pacman will have to fight like cotto did with margo and stay on the move cotto will be stalkin him


the determining factor of this fight will be........can pacman hurt cotto

I just find it hard to imagine a small man in pacquiao beating cotto up, cotto is a bully, he loves being a bully, and pacquiao is not a really good boxer, he's fast and he can get in and out, but his style is one that likes to get hit, a lot, and cotto is taking this fight way more serious that pacquiao is, i think cotto is going to be wary in the first two to three rounds, and then he starts to impose his will on the smaller man, if pac couldn't ko oscar, i find it hard to believe he's knocking cotto out, IMO cotto beats pacquiao in a quintana/gomez fashion, fast and hard. i see these two in a trilogy battle, it's just the only thing that makes sense, considering that floyd is not negotiating with arum, so makes sense to me right?

w.e happens happens anything can happen in this fight, but i just see this fight as UNFAIR for pacquiao in every sense of the word.

not too many people agree with me but just like you i see Cotto getting tag in the earlier fights by pacman .Now what i really see is Cotto knocking out Pacman in the earlier rounds by a big left hook to the body or head plus Pacman goes crazy in the exchanges and he dont want to do that against Cotto.I believe Margo is going to take sape and form in the way of Cotto and Pacman is going to turn into Cotto but alot more heart!!!!

I don't think Pac can land flush that much and not hurt Cotto at least once. I do think Cotto will back him up and batter the body. His size will bother Pac.
