I, like the judges thought Maestre won that fight. I agreed with the two judges. The judge who had it 117-110, yes too lop-sided for sure. Because first of all they need a referee in the re-match who will follow the rule of law and take points away from Fox for ALL the holding that he was unbelievably allowed to do! Another thing is the punch stats were way closer than Fox fans seem to want to believe. And Maestre was the one landing ALL the hard shots minus that one flash knock down, that Maestre popped right back up from. I gave him credit for that even though Maestre still came on strong 10-8. I had it close like the judges but Maestre winning the fight like them when it was over. Because he landed all the other heavy blows through out the fight and continously pushed the action. All that holding should've NEVER been allowed. All that running and holding was unbelievable to me. Any veteran fighter or fan appreciates a boxer who can effectively fight defensively but that was ridiculous, all that holding and running, not being that effective. I mean come'ON, mostly making an opponent miss, holding WAY too much and landing just touching, not "telling" blows shouldn't win the fight. If they get a competent referee for the re-match that doesn't allow all that holding and takes points for holding like he's supposed to, Fox will get stopped gauranteed.. Just my opinion like alot of other people I talked to that saw the fight. And apparently the judges too.. The one judge had it lop-sided yes, but the other 2 judges had it right. I was actually so surprised that the commentators weren't even talking about all the illegal holding. They should've been..
