Its interesting, I've faced a lot of Babic types in sparring. All aggression which can easily throw off a fighter who doesn't like getting into the mix of things, but you turn up the heat on them and put some punches together whilst coming forward and they fall apart. Babic's going to eventually run into an adequately sized heavyweight and get jabbed and held and eventually KOed.

Yup, also any cardio they thought they had soon dissipates aswell especially whilst taking punishment themselves!!

Babic getting flack here. He threw punches that would have decked other HWs including Joshua and Whyte in the 2nd rnd. So Babic will always have a puncher's chance.

People not giving Bennett enough props, he's crap ..... but elite in one department - that guy has maybe the best pound for pound chin in boxing!!

Come on now your trolling let’s not be part of the crazy crew on here like the other two above . Babic doesn’t hit hard for a top level heavyweight ,he’s sub par at best and arm punches most of the time who fought a very tired C level fighter ,he wouldn’t be any threat to AJ or Whyte at this point who is his manager not even entertaining the thoughts you are in fact he’s admitted he’s not near any of those guys in the post fight interview.

I think he has reasonable technique (good amateur) but he is not a heavy weight. Train and nutritu
ion and contender at cruiser weight (though I'd give Okoli a miss if I was him).

That is pro matchmaking right there. Chisora - Babic could be FOTY stuff. Babic is easy to root for, but obviously has plenty of flaws. His technique isn't as bad as a lot of people say, but he is for sure pretty raw. He's got a 100% KO ratio in 8 fights, whatever that means, so its hard to gauge how much power he really has. He was smashing Bennett as clean as you can over and over for 5 straight rounds, so either Bennett has a cast iron chin or Babic isn't the ****er that he's advertised to be. Bennett is a big dude, but all the elite HWs are big dudes. I suspect that Babic will find a way to beat Chisora (or, more likely, Chisora will find some way to lose to Babic), but then I say he loses bad in his next step up. I'll be rooting for Babic though because he's a cool character who adds color to the division.

It's not crazy to say that a HW ****er has a puncher's chance against a chinny HW such as Joshua.
Bennett was tired because he was on the receiving end of dozens of power punches - Babic caused the tiredness.
Not saying that Babic is the 2nd coming - just that he has a puncher's chance against the chinnier HWs.
He's not ready for Whyte or AJ right now but he'll be a contender if he wins his next 4-5 bouts.

They don't even let ppl like joyce, yoka, ajagba or Hrgovic to fight for a major title....so I see it as impossible for babic to step up to contender level!

Babic is a journeyman still, nobody gives a f.uck who he is. He will probably be fed to some fringe contender as stay busy fight. If he wins, he will get a bigger chance.
