Save this post. Against Pac, Spence will jab and box while trying to find his distance and rhythm in round 1-5. After a rough start, Spence will start closing the distance and backing Pac up with effective and intelligent pressure. After the 6-7th rounds, Spence will turn up the heat and start eating shots to get his off. By 8-10, he will either choose to pursue going after Pac or he will slowly pick him apart.

Down the stretch, Pacs punches won’t hurt nearly as much. Spence will have to make a big decision to cruise to a decision or run him over.
    I already know.

I've been a Spence fan before he went pro. Saw him in the Olympics and already knew this dude was destined for greatness.

Spence retires Pacquiao in my opinion.

I just hope he doesn't fight Pacquiao's fight. Cause that's typically doesn't end well for anyone. What I expect though is Pacquiao to double hop into that left hand and go right to sleep.

I agree with having much more experience but that’s it. Pacs offense is designed around his athleticism and his foot and hand speed. He doesn’t ever have to make adjustments in the sense of IQ or traps. He simply keeps firing at different angles and uses his footwork to catch his opponent’s off guard.

As for a knockdown…I’m not convinced of that happening even if Spence is pulling straight back. Pac is going to come out hot and I’m sure the goal for Team Spence is to ease into the fight. Minimize engagement, probe, score, and be defensively responsible. As the rounds progress and Pac slows down…then turn the heat up and take 2-3 shots to land one and see who has the grit down the stretch. People will be surprised at how boring the first half the fight will be.

Love Pac and he’s surely too 5 ATG for even taking this fight. But I refuse to call him a thinking fighter or a chess player in the ring.

I can’t see a one punch knockout at all. All I can see if an accumulation of punches. Even so, he’s a vet and he’ll know how to fight safely while still looking productive. Errol will literally have to hunt him down

When did they spar? Wasn’t it when Porter was early in his career?

that's part of having good ring IQ.. if not then he would just be throwing to be throwing.

You know sparring is not the fight, right?

sparring is not the actual fight.... BUT, it gives you an idea where a fighter is at... you think a fighter is purposely gonna take unnecessary punches, just because "it's sparring"???

How did he manage to connect so much on Spence?

Is Spence defense a liability against PAC?
1 He's an excellent inside fighter and 2 Spence played his game.

PAC has incredible boxing IQ and so much experience it’s almost unfair to these current welters who’ve never been in wars such as he.

You will see the experience play a major role in this fight. Along with the speed.

PAC is the boxing game’s Tom Brady.
                      Even Bradley has said so.
