Anybody with some common sense and 2 good eyes knows what happened in that fight. Cheato is banned and Cotto awaits the fight of a lifetime. Life is the great equalizer...****, i might put that in my sig. 2nd time i said it.
Cotto was doing fine until the plaster hardened. and nobody ever ***ed up Cotto's face like that before. Plus a lot of body shots with hard gloves slowed him down so early when he never slowed so early in any fight AND he was doing well!
I hardly ever seen anybody's face look so bad. and the FACT he got caught tryin' to use loaded gloves fits perfectly in the puzzle that Cotto started to fade in rounds so early...did he fade so quick even with that nasty gash from Clotteys headbutt? Cotto is not known to fade so much THAT early in ANY fight.
No. He fought very well and didn't fade out like he did in the cheato fight. Some people just don't want to believe that he cheated. It's so ***in obvious he did. We're never going to make anybody believe that doesn't want to believe it HD, but we know what really happened. I'm kinda torn about Cotto Giving him a rematch. He'll be giving him a nice payday and a chance to climb back on the ladder/avenging his only loss to a known, banned cheater and kick his no good cheatin' ass all over the gadam ring.
Face it. He got caught and banned.

Well if you listen to Kellerman please listen to what Steward said from round 1. Lampley didn't want to listen, but soon he realized what Steward was talking about. Cotto was fighting the wrong fight. It happens in boxing.
Let that **** go. Its over and there is no proof.

Harold Leaderman said he had never heard punches like the ones Margarito landed against Cotto. That should tell something.

But look how well he did, and if I was him, after that fight, i would look back in retrospect thinking to myself, ****, it took him 11 rounds to get me to take a knee with loaded gloves...i bet it did wonders for his confidence. I know i would look at it that way if i were in his shoes.
And Shane beat the living daylights out of him. I bet he was pissed. Cheato ain't **** with no PoP. And Cotto beat the man who beat the man.
Edit;
I find it very befitting that, as Tony slithers away shamefully into the cracks of failure, corruption and cowardice, Cotto stands in the sunlight of the doorway of the opportunity of a lifetime. A multi-million $$ payday and the chance to catipult him up in rank, and a chance to call the shots and pick a couple more huge $$ fights then retire, just like he said he wanted.
Thank you, Manny!Last edited by jazluvr; 09-05-2009, 06:52 PM.

More likely, that is the round where Cotto started to tire from all the movement.
