By Cliff Rold - Okay, so boxing kept its August form. Historically, that has meant not much form at all and it all played out true. It is not to say the month went by without action. We got a solid scrap (and odd scoring) in Juan Diaz-Paulie Malignaggi, a performance from Roy Jones which looked so close to old form it was almost convincing and a night of savage action on ESPN to end the month and prime all for what promises to be a wild last third of the year.
