so thats the reason for all of the Mayweather hate?

Pacquiao has actually fought at WW. It's not new territory for the Cotto fight for him. Marquez has only been as high as LW. He had to go up to a new weight class for the fight. Also alot of people just don't like Floyd's personality and thus don't like Floyd.

Mayweather is an arrogant, conceited, egotistical, bigheaded, supercilious, and condescending motherfuc ker. He ducked everybody in the WW division except for Juddah and retired himself for the reason to keep his hush-hush boxing ability.

SO cause he retired for his own personal reasons whether it be health or family, he gets hated on? What does his attitude have to do with boxing? Ali was much more disrespectul and mouth than Mayweather. At the time he retired is was the recognized Pound 4 Pound Champ and was already a HOF....why does he get criticized for personal decisions outside of the ring?

He came back and all of the fights he "ducked" he will fight....sheesh the man wants to rest his body and spend time with family and gets crucified

PBF should have faced a legitimate WW fighter or simply met JMM halfway at JWW. This is why he is being criticized.

Lol u act as if Pac fighting DLH who didnt fight at WW in 8 years is considerable enough to say its "NOT NEW TERRITORY"....I mean sheesh, he was 146 when he fought Marquez @ super feather weight...

The reasons are cause the former Super featherweight pac has a fight at 147 already...and the former Super featherweight Marquez doesnt?...thats what the answer is?

He at least fought at welter. JMM has never been past LW. Going to up to 144, nine pounds higher than anything he has ever fought at. Floyd will not get full credit for win, not matter what he does. Maybe it's not fair, but it's probably what's going to happen.

dude its like I've said many times. PBF could find the cure for cancer, AIDS while saving burning babies and solving all the worlds problems in one night yet people would still hate on that. Its a fact. Mayweather (as he wanted to be) is the bad guy. Haters are his biggest fans. They support him and keep his name going even when he's "retired". Haters pay him to talk.... then they (the haters) in-turn get pissed when he talks? Its never ending.

At the end of the day no matter what PBF does people will hate. He could call on a TOP MW and someone would say he called on a weak MW or a crap fighter. No matter who it is they will pick it apart unless of course he lost. It comes down to the "I told you so" with Mayweather. People watch to see him lose.

As for Cotto, he'll get hated on when he beats Pac.

But Pac left 135 and jumped 12 lbs....Marquez isnt meeting Mayweather @ 147.....Why isnt Marquez getting criticized for making Mayweather cut weight down to 144 or 145? At least Pac went up to fight @ 147 (although it was DLH)....im just trying to understand the hate....

Honestly, it's because Cotto sucks when compared to Mayweather. People would call for Mayweather to fight at 140 against Pac, but some people think Cotto will get killed at 145. It's really because Cotto is a sub par fighter when compared to Mayweather.
