Ellerbe: Terrence Crawford is P4P#1

This kind of shocked me, as far as I'm aware, the Mayweather camp has never shown any sort of respect to Bud Crawford, unless I'm forgetting a time that it's happened, or a Top Rank fighter in general

Currently, Alvarez has settled in nicely at 168 pounds, defeating most of the titleholders in the division. Still, despite his impressive resume, CEO of Mayweather Promotions in Leonard Ellerbe, doesn’t have the Mexican star at the top of his own personal pound for pound list.

“Canelo is a very good fighter,” said Ellerbe to a group of reporters. “I think he’s a tremendous fighter, but I still personally say Terence Crawford.”

Floyd has called Bud #1 before. This website and forum are OWNED by Showtime/CBS so they push PBC fighters the same way ESPN pushes TR fighters

His resume not good enough to be no1. But as soon as bud beats someone great convincingly I'll put him no1 instantly, on the basis of having just 1 special win. If it leaves me thinking if he was nel o size he'd beat nelo id have no issue having bud no1.

I think Crawford was #1 but his lack of quality opposition, while Canelo and Inoue have beaten quality opponents, had IMO moved him out of the top position.

Which is why I'm ready to put money on a Crawford loss to Shawn Porter - because when Mayweather called Choco the #1P4P, Srisaket put it on him.

When Floyd said that Cotto was the toughest guy in the business, Canelo put it on him.

When Floyd said that Manny was #2 behind him, Jeff Horn put it on him.

When Floyd said that Deontay Wilder was "the King", Tyson Fury put it on him.

bud looks more cerebral....but hes breaking down sht guys or guys that have already been broken down......its all good though i aint never really been mad at bud...hes good....i hope these pleasantries being shared between the pbc/arum mean we are getting closer....
