    Oscar fans: was Oscar at his best while trained by Robert Alcazar?

    I think so... Lots of rain over here so I decided to watch some DLH fights and I forgot how good he was when we worked with Alcazar, I just dont see the same Oscar when Rivero and Mayweather trained him.

    I think he was at his best when he added Gil Clancy to his team.

          yes he was mayweather is one of the most overrated trainers in the sport he trains everyone to try and fight like his son ...

            ive always said this, he shouldnt of fired him in the first place, he was a great trainer for him...

              I believe he was. I read in his biography that he fired him because Alcazar was some kind of hyper indiviual who would call Oscar to work out outta nowhere and that in some of his fights he would yell at Oscar and Oscar said that put him uneasy and hw wasnted a trainer that would calm him down in between breaks not make him worry.

                  I think so, but in his book "American Son", Oscar named Mayweather as his best trainer.
