The WBA were supposed to be doing away with all the regular belts and actually started doing it then suddenly about turned on that decision. Then next you know all these PBC fighters start going after regular belts. And when they get them, the WBA never orders any mandatories. Yet they order them for the same belts when contested by 2 non PBC fighters. Not to mention that those PBC fighters get upgraded to full super champ when they're vacant, so they don't actually have to fight for them. On top of that look through all the WBA rankings top to bottom stacked with PBC fighters. And so many interim belts too lol. Not hard to see what's going on here. Spoiling boxing to the core.

Totally agree. But it won't happen. And let's make sure Davis also fights for those super belts and doesn't get upgraded also when those belts become vacant. Just so we remain consistent.

It should be Wood vs no 1 on rankings for a vacant belt . And when belts at 135 and 140 both become vacant Davis should also have to fight for vacant belts. Let's see if there's consistency.

That was the 130 belt. But he kept hold of 126 belt despite not defending it. It should have been dropped or removed a long time ago. That said , wood should still have to fight for it.

Leigh Wood is the type of guy LSC will happily fight. I could see this happening.

Wood is a decent fighter but LSC deals with him pretty easily I reckon.

Santa Cruz should fight GRJ but we’ve all been saying this for years now.

This is certainly more than reasonable. I’d be strongly in favour of this. It then allows possible unification fights and that’s what most fans like to see. Wood was fantastic against Can. I’m backing Barry to get another win over Jazza and then he can go on and grab a couple more titles. Decent times ahead.
