  • "F" P4P, What are your most entertaining fighters of all time?

I got names like, Cotto, Pacquiao, Jorge Arce, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Nonito Donaire, Felix Trinidad, Mike Tyson, Naseem Hamed, Arturo Gatti, Ricardo Mayorga (imagine a list that he could be top 5 in? lol), Israel Vasquez, Rafael Marquez, Juan Marquez (Post Pacquaio 1 fights), Kelly Pavlik, Vitali Klitscko. These are mostly fighters during my time of watching and getting into the sport that I followed and was so hyped up to watch when they had an upcoming fight. They're not all the most technical, but they brought the excitement that had you jumping out your seats at times. What fighters could you watch no matter their losses, over and over because the excitement was unreal? The fights that you would show your friend who wasn't into boxing to get him/her into boxing?

Roy Jones and Naseem Hamed for me personally.

Julian Jackson was also always must watch watch for me.

Amir Khan is one of the most exciting fighters in recent years too. Lightning hand speed so always dangerous but a glass chin so always vulnerable.

I’m going to give a specific shout out to Fernando Vargas because he hasn’t been mentioned here yet.

Was he ever in a bad fight?

Vargas was always super aggressive and it made all his bouts entertaining.

He also gave us what we all crave… knockouts. Vargas had 31 fights and 26 of them ended by KO.

          Watch his entire career.

All his blowouts are entertaining to watch.

When he won decisions they were all high action and high drama fights.

The fight with Felix Trinidad is one of the best back and forth action fights of all time.

The Wilfredo Rivera comeback fight was an exciting, high drama fight because Vargas went down against an accomplished and capable opponent, yet came back to win by KO.

The Oscar De La Hoya fight was not only high action but incredibly close and dramatic before the KO. Vargas was up 7 rounds to 3 on one card and trailing 4 rounds to 6 on the other two cards.

The first Shane Mosley fight was the same thing. It was really fun to watch, incredibly close and dramatic before the stoppage. Vargas was up 5 rounds to 4 on one care and trailed 4 rounds to 5 on the other two cards.

The guy gave us his heart and soul for 31 straight fights and started fighting absolute killers at fight 15.

Shoutout to Fernando Vargas. We can all argue who’s the best but he needs to be mentioned.

Word. Forgot about him. I mostly caught him at the end of his career vs Mosley and Mayorga. I did watch his Oscar/Tito fights and they were hella fun.
