No good fighters should accept a Canelo fight on short notice

This trend is becoming odd and should raise eyebrows. I'm a fan of Bivol and I'd like to see him get a Canelo fight but not under these circumstances.

      Alvarez has all the leverage

imagine upsetting Alvarez. Your chances increase when he didn’t have a full training camp to prepare for you

Take a shot at greatness even if it comes on short notice.

        Just like Andy Ruiz did.

Or even like Rice did yesterday (on a much, much smaller scale of greatness.)

How much time is spent on analyzing the opponent during training camp ?
I'd say maybe an hour a day for a week. You never know for sure which version of that opponent will show up.

If a short notice guy pulls an upset, it's most likely the other guy not taking his business seriously enough. Underdogs usually (almost always) lose, even with a full camp.

AlvaRoid won't fight anyone without some sort of advantage, Someone will take the fight on short notice & lose. Bivol & his manager already said if it took too long they wouldn't accept the fight.
