The ref called it off. AJ responded to the instructions, somewhat slowly but he did as he was instructed and the ref said nah.

And the ref was right to do so as AJ was concussed. Ruiz got lucky with that and AJ took care of buisness comfortably in his rematch. But people don't wanna see that though
