They have the BEST WW Prospect...Jaron "Boots" Ennis, and they have Eimanatas Stanionis too! They also have a deep stable @ 140, so the WW division is solid for at least the next 5 years! The problem is getting the likes of Thurman, Spence, and Porter, to fight the young guns like Ennis and Stanionis! Ugas is not a prospect, but he gets treated like one, even with the WBA title!

That's why I keep thanking the WBO! If they did not order this fight, we would be getting Thurman vs. Porter 2.. Not a bad fight, but not as good as Crawford vs. Porter! Bob is dangling a carrot (Josh Taylor) in front of Crawford. Do you think he signs an extension with TR for that fight?

Porter will try to pressure Bud but after a couple of solid rights to the mouth, you’ll see Porter backing up and trying to avoid a knockout. This won’t be a pitter-patter Spence fight. If Porter really is that aggressive, he’ll get knocked out within five rounds. I like Porter and he has a great career ahead of him as a boxing commentator. Good for him - he’ll be in demand and a great gig to boot. That’s a nicer way to age than boxing in your 40’s.

The porter that showed up against Spence will trouble Crawford.. might even beat him

very interesting fight, porter is not the most pleasing on the eye but he is tough and rugged and not an easy fight, now he may be about to become crawfords yardstick

You were whining and moaning that Porter wasn't responding.

Now that he has responded you're moving the goalposts.

Crawford was going to fight Zepeda if the WBO hadn't ordered this fight. He told Porter to stand down and standby!! Like really dude, your resume is already suspect. Fighting low level competition can come back to fight Bud in this fight. If Crawford is legit he'll win this fight in impressive fashion. But Porter needs to bring that rough house style for Crawford because Porter won't beat Crawford fighting the way he did against Ugas. Shawn needs to fight like he did against Thurman to win this fight. I'm picking Porter in this one.

Fairytales can come true, but not with Shawn-A-Roo - if you’re young at heart. Not a chance.

Ppl p, this WBO was influenced by Arum to not only steer Crawford from Josh Taylor (at this time) but since it may be Bud’s farewell with TR, Bob wants to cleanup on this fight & possibly offer damaged goods Crawford to whatever promoter of advising manager that considers him. Bob says ‘f’ Bud’s legacy, Bud should think ‘f’ his loyalty to TR & Bob!

                      ...

                      from the other thread...

I can't believe most people cannot see that

it seems that fans learn VERY slowly in this sport... I see the same people, making the same dumb mistakes

Crawford is too well-rounded, and his game is too tight... for Spence

Pac definitely took the easier fight style-wise, no question about it... and they 100% know that... but he should still get FULL credit for walking into harms way, Spence is a beast

not only can I pick the winner of this fight... I know exactly how the fight will unfold

Porter will lose a tight decision, in a closely fought encounter... similar to the Spence fight, because that is what Porter does

he is a 100% dog, straight up... he will bring it to Crawford and make him earn every point

because he is the underdog... because he fought so well... and because so many casual-fans are re-tards... they will insist Porter won

insiders... trainers/fighters/etc... will be able to explain exactly how/why Crawford won... but the hoards of casuals will not accept it

already seen this movie, MANY times
