  • Comments Thread For: Warren: Providing Fury is Focused and He's Okay, He'll Do a Job on Wilder

Frank Warren, co-promoter of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, cautions that his fighter can't afford to slip up in the upcoming trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder. They were scheduled to collide on July 24, with the event being pushed back when Fury tested positive for COVID-19.

Yea wilder learning how to box now, fury should be worried cuz wilder about to teach him a boxing lesson come October. All these delays are benefiting Deontay... await a boxing masterclass from the bronze bumber.

How in the Hell does Warren expects Fury to be focused and Okay when he is being forced to take a fight that he doesn't want? Which was the cause of his nervous breakdown to begin with when he faked COVID. Fury cannot stand pressure. When he does, then he finds a way of mentally tapping out like he did for the scheduled July 24th trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder.

"The only person that can beat Tyson, is Tyson."

You could be talking about either Tyson, and that statement would be true!

You remember how I was asking you and everyone else here, WHAT is it that makes Fury incapable of honoring rematches and defending his belt? Took Wilder's belt, RAN OFF. Took Wlad's belt. RAN OFF.

I think you just nailed it here: Fury cannot stand pressure.

When Fury was fighting Wlad, he was teh underdog, no pressure, if he loses no big deal. Same in the Wilder fight.

But now in the rematch, ALL the pressure is on him. In the Wlad rematch, he would of had a Wlad coming at him who wasnt gonna fall for that herky jerky BS style again. And in the Wilder trilogy, he will have an ANGRY focused Wilder who is coming to take his head clean off his shoulders, ON TOP OF, having to do a similar performance as in the second fight with ALL EYES ON HIM.

The boy folds under pressure. I will say it again, Floyd is TBE. I never liked his boxing style, I like the brawlers and the guys who walk you down type of fighters. But Floyd mastered defence in his second half of his career, never took a loss, fought quality competition, took rematches even when the fights were close and he could of just took the W and moved on, always performed well under pressure and he was always the guy everyone expected to win.
Name me one guy who did it better than Floyd in recent history. Pacman is a close second (cause he lost to Floyd)

Wilder isn't going to box, he's going to muscle Tyson around. He's going to learn how to maul. Why bench press 400 pounds?
