Lucky to be a witness to Manny's career. Win or lose, he is the most accomplished of this era. May the best man win in this match and both fighters go home healthy to their families.

As he says, it really is like he has had several careers in boxing. The biggest achievements were from a different part than this latest phase, but still this final part is probably the bravest.
Most of the all time greats like Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson never won championships in their 40's and in fact were being dominated by younger elite fighters in their weight division when they reached that or are close to that age level, so this last part of Manny's career(already the oldest welterweight champion ever at 40 y.o.) will help him stand out even further in the all time rankings if he continues to succeed against elite fighters even at 42 to 43 years of age.Last edited by cjeagle1; 07-28-2021, 02:07 AM.Spoon23 likes this.

Wow, spoken like a GURU
"Yes, I think I can win. I think that for every fight. But this one is different because I need to fight the perfect fight. Literally. I cannot make a mistake. I need to execute the game plan perfectly and that is the real challenge. Can I do that? No one is perfect but for a fight like this, it is all uphill and that is why I am working so hard in the gym. It is the ultimate challenge. Body and mind need to be perfectly in sync for the entire fight for me to succeed against Errol Spence. It will be a big test of physical and mental endurance.?
